چکیده
Pituitary tumours are common in dogs and being increasingly recognized cats. usually classified as adenomas should only be carcinomas when there is evidence of metastatic spread the tumour, which rare. Despite benign nature most pituitary tumours, they can still compress or invade neighbouring tissues. functional (hormonally active) non-functional silent). The aim this review was to provide an overview different tumour types cats that have been reported literature. In dogs, type corticotroph adenoma, cause pituitary-dependent hypercortisolism. cats, somatotroph hypersomatotropism, second-most adenoma. A lactotroph adenoma has described one dog, while gonadotroph, thyrotroph null cell not Hormonally silent likely underdiagnosed because do result endocrine syndrome. Tools used classify humans, particularly immunohistochemistry for lineage-specific transcription factors, useful canine feline unknown origin. Future studies required better understand full range pathology determine whether certain subtypes behave more aggressively than others. Currently, mechanisms underlie tumorigenesis largely unknown. understanding molecular background these could help identify improved pituitary-targeted therapeutics.

abstract this study investigates the teachers’ correction of students’ spoken errors of linguistic forms in efl classes, aiming at (a) examining the relationship between the learners’ proficiency level and the provision of corrective feedback types, (b) exploring the extent to which teachers’ use of different corrective feedback types is related to the immediate types of context in which err...
Pancreatitis in Dogs and Cats
The fundamental mechanism of disease in pancreatitis is autodigestion of pancreatic tissue by digestive enzymes that are prematurely activated within the pancreatic acinar cells. Normally, pancreatic digestive enzymes are released from the pancreas as inactive precursor zymogen granules. Trypsinogen within these granules is proteolytically cleaved and activated when it reaches the duodenal lume...

متن کاملProgress in transsphenoidal hypophysectomy for treatment of pituitary-dependent hyperadrenocorticism in dogs and cats.
Cushing's disease or pituitary-dependent hyperadrenocorticism (PDH) is common in dogs and rare in cats. PDH is caused by a pituitary tumor producing adrenocorticotropin (ACTH). Pituitary imaging with computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is required to assess the size and location of the pituitary adenoma in relation to the surgical landmarks. In a specialized veterinary ...
